About Powder Brows
Powder brows are the studio favorite and our most popular service here at Brow Envy. Powder brows are our favorite service for numerous reasons including: longevity, skin health, suitable for all skin types, and initial healed results are more consistent. Powder brows uses modern tattooing techniques to implant pigment into your skin, creating a soft powdery finish which looks like makeup. They are fully customizable from soft and powdery to bold and defined. It is the most versatile style.
*Powder brows are a corrective technique. If you have previous work which has discoloured, or has darker/lighter areas this style is what you NEED to be choosing.
Microblading| Feather Stroke| Nano Blading| Brow Embroidery
Microblading creates hair-like strokes in the skin to mimic the look of real hair. This technique uses a manual method of implanting pigment with a comb-like “microblade” which cuts the skin and pigment is rubbed in. Microblading can help to add density to existing eyebrow hair or create a completely natural-looking set of eyebrows for those who experience partial or complete hair loss. Our client list includes those who have Alopecia or other autoimmune disorders, Trichotillomania, hair loss due to Chemotherapy, as well as those who are merely looking for a fuller set of brows. The eyebrow shape, colour, and texture is fully tailored to each individual client for the most realistic results.
*Disclaimer* Microblading is NOT suitable for all skin types. Clients with oily skin, bleeding disorders, excessive sun damage and rosacea will need powder brows to achieve desirable healed results.
*Microblading is NOT a corrective technique. If you have previous work and it has not faded more than 75% microblading will not be done. It will not cover grey brows, or red/pink brows.
Nano Brows | Tattoo Hair Strokes
About Nano Brows
As we learn more and more about permanent makeup and how services age, the industry has begun to shift away from microblading. Why? Because of the damage and trauma it causes to the skin and how quickly it fades. However, there will always be a need/want for hairstroke type finish.
That’s where nano brows comes in. This method of eyebrow tattooing uses a machine to create tiny micro-punctures into the skin in a very tight formation. Think of a needle implanting the pigment into the skin just like a sewing machine, between each dot is untouched skin.
